It also provides health food; cosmetics; edible, castor, and essential oils; active pharmaceutical ingredients and high-function chemicals; quinine salt and its derivatives; antiseptic solutions; stem cells; and medical devices. In addition, the company engages in the provision of integrated health services, including pharmacies, health and beauty clinics, clinical and diagnostic laboratories, and optics; pharmacy retail management; and distribution of medicines to pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, medical centers, and drug stores, as well as cosmetics and medical devices. It exports its products to Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, and America. The company was founded in 1817 and is headquartered in Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia. PT Kimia Farma Tbk operates as a subsidiary of PT. Bio Farma.
