It engages in corn, various horticulture, hybrid paddy, non-hybrid paddy, leaf vegetables horticulture, fruit horticulture, fruit vegetables horticulture, chili, and plant breeding farming; after harvest services; seed selection for breeding; wholesale trading of paddy and field crop, fruits, agricultural and forestry machinery and equipment, fertilizers and agrochemical products, and vegetables; research and development on technology and agricultural genetic engineering and biotechnology; fruit and vegetable drying; corn milling and cleaning; natural and non-synthetic, single, artificial, and compound fertilizer primary macro nutrients; secondary macro nutrients; micro nutrient and complementary fertilizers; planting media; retail trade through media for mixed and various goods; and internet trading application development activities. It also offers hybrid corn seeds; horticulture seeds such as sweet corn seed, peppers, cucumbers, bittergourd, cabbage, seedless watermelon, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, loofah, and eggplants; rice seeds; amaranthus, waterconvolvulus, beans, and yard long beans; and pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, plant growth regulators, gluten, fishisida, and others. The company was formerly known as PT Benihinti Suburintani and changed its name to PT BISI International Tbk in October 2006. The company was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Sidoarjo, Indonesia.
